...to have something posted. With the hot summer weather combined with the fast of Ramadan, I have not been able to get out and take photos like I would've liked. Luckily, I'm in an area where pleasant weather lasts well into September and October so I'll have plenty of opportunity. Not to mention, the winters are not the harsh ones the slam the northern part of the country. Here's to patience.
not as far and few between as one might think. The significance may vary but the occurrence is pretty regular. Every year we celebrate annual happenings of all kinds: marriage, birthdays, professional commitments, holiday memories, graduations, etc. And then there are the ones that aren't celebrated as frequently but still register on the milestone scale (sometimes with more force than the recurring ones). In about six weeks time, my wife and I will be welcoming our first child. We just had our baby shower and got to share the sentiment of this experience with some close family and friends. Talk about new beginnings. Three years ago, I was newly married and my wife and I moved to Charlotte, NC, sight unseen, to start our lives together. Now, we are in a new place for a new phase of couplehood. Life moves fast. The important things happen more frequently than we think. Stop and pay attention once in a while.
